BioSonic Sound Healing Clinic focuses on the practice of integrative sound healing. Everything is taught through sessions, supervision, and discussion under the guidance and mentorship of a senior practitioner. Each clinic is different and unique bassed on student’s needs, and participants achieve a deeper understanding of sound healing through participating in and discussing sessions. Discussion topics may include:
How to establish and maintain a therapeutic alliance.
How to relate to emotions, beliefs, and thoughts that arise during sessions.
How to evaluate individuals and groups.
How to establish boundaries.
The ethics of sound healing practice.
Best business practices.
Integrative sound healing modalities, i.e. mindfulness practices, verbal counseling, bodywork, hypnosis, life coaching, homeopathy, herbs, nutrition, and crystals and colors.
Using different Sound Healing Instruments, i.e. tuning forks, voice, crystal bowls, metal bowls, drums, flutes, bells, keyboard sounds, rattles, etc.
All sessions and topics are unique to each clinic. Past topics have included setting time boundaries, using sound to work with depression, colon problems, headaches, addictions, and specific life challenges. Using sound to improve performance and achieve goals. Being in front of a group and creating a successful sound immersion experience. Sound healing ethics and using sound to support cancer treatments. How to recognize when you need supervision and support.
The clinic is for practitioners of sound healing. Sessions are given for learning purposes and not everyone attending clinic will receive a session. `However we have found that observing and discussing sessions can be similar effect as receiving a personal session.
