Sound And Babies
John Beaulieu, N.D., Ph.D.
Babies sense vibration perceive their mother’s voice starting at the fourth month of prenatal life. In this class we will learn how sound and music, when properly understood, can have a positive effect on babies. Class topics will include the tone of your voice and talking with your baby, singing and humming to your baby, playing music for your baby, special “baby concerts” using BioSonic tuning forks, and how to use vibro acoustic tuning forks to help mother and baby. During class we will review the science on vitro hearing and how it relates to sound, neural network communication, and cognition development. Special emphasis will be given to learning how to give “baby tuning fork concerts” that can be played by practitioners during sessions as well as parents at home. Special points, that when stimulated by touch and/or a tuning fork, to help with pain, stretching, and increased blood flow will be taught.
Sound and Babies is open to professional practitioners and parents. Everyone will learn how to create tuning fork concerts, choose different music’s, the importance of voice tone, and how to work with special points. In vitro babies are welcome and are guaranteed many good concerts.
