We are vibrational beings navigating a vibrational universe. During class we will focus on increased Self-awareness of vibrational sensations, called feeling tones, that ideally stream effortlessly through the body. Special emphasis will be given to how to relate to thoughts and emotions in order to enter into the experience pure sensation. We will learn daily exercises to integrate the principles of sound healing via tuning forks into somatic psychology in order to increase or health and well-being. The integration of tuning forks and sound healing into somatic psychotherapies has been found to be an effective means of working with trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociation, identity issues, and the regulation of emotions.
During class everyone will learn sound healing with tuning forks to include theory, technique, and basic practices. The principles of sound healing learned with tuning forks can be applied to all sound healing modalities including crystal bowls, gongs, voice, and all musical instruments. Dr. Beaulieu’s classes are taught Montessori style where all students, beginning – advanced, learn from each other. Our goal is for students to learn practical sound healing and mental health skills that will help you in your life and your professional practice.
