The Modal Spectrum creates different fields of sound that are intended to color the mind through subtle shifts in tone color called modes. The term chromatic comes from the Greek word Chrome whichmeans color. Traditionally modeshave been used to create melodiesthat have healing powers. Sounding the tuningforks in different modes will create a field of sound within which spontaneous melodies will appear and disappear. The listenerwill naturally tune into those melodiesthat are congruent with their healing needs.
