For using the 32 Otto (without pouch) for stimulating nerves on the skin and hair. Tap it by the body as described and than lightly touch your skin or hair with the edge of the tuning fork body. You will feel it stimulate, vibrate, and “tug” at your skin and hair. You can also tap the fork and move it very slowly across your face or hairline. ( After activating/ tapping move the fork across your face or hairline) You can feel the Vibration without touching your face.
At 32 Hz:
Low frequencies tend to activate deeper touch and pressure receptors in the skin. On the face, this may feel like:
-
A slow pulsing sensation
-
Gentle tapping from inside the tissue
-
A mild “wave” spreading outward
Because 32 Hz is a lower vibration, it may:
-
Encourage tight facial muscles to relax
-
Increase awareness of areas you unconsciously hold tension (jaw, brow, around the mouth)
You can also apply the Otto 32 to larger bony structures where the vibration can be easily perceived. This includes but not limited to the sacrum, hips, lower back, knees, and feet. The deep vibration is often chosen when a stronger tactile sensation is desired.
The Otto tuners are used for relaxation, the sound vibrates into the bones for relaxation. The Otto Tuners are tuned to the frequencies of 32cps, 64cps, and 128cps. They vibrate at a low pitch and due to their weighted ends, the sound lasts longer than that of regular tuning forks. Their frequencies are based on an 8 cps fundamental tone raised in octaves (i.e. 8 cps, 16 cps, 32 cps, 64 cps, 128 cps.) The 8 cps fundamental, which based on the pulsation of the planet earth, is the generating tone for all our tuning forks.
Please note, the Otto 32 does not come with a pouch, as it is too long.
As with all tuning forks, avoid applying directly over recent injuries, fractures, areas of active inflammation, or sensitive medical conditions.
Frequency & practice context
Low-frequency weighted tuners
Weighted forks produce a vibration that can be felt through the handle during appropriate contact. Sound-healing practitioners use them in body-focused relaxation practices. Frequency alone does not establish an effect on a particular tissue or condition.
- 32 Hz: Associated in the supplied reference with grounding and deep-body work. This is not evidence of bone healing; use the BioSonics 32 Hz instructions rather than a generic placement chart.
- 64 Hz: Associated with body relaxation and spine/hip-focused practices. This is not a recommendation to treat spinal or muscle conditions.
- 128 Hz: Commonly chosen for tactile relaxation practices. Claims of joint-pain treatment or nervous-system regulation are not established benefits of this product.
- 136.1 Hz OM: A separate weighted meditation option associated with heart-centered reflection. Chakra balance is a spiritual interpretation.
Use gentle activation and the product-specific instructions. Avoid injured or sensitive areas. Persistent pain or other symptoms need appropriate healthcare assessment.
