Accessibility Statement
Our accessibility commitment
BioSonics is working to make its website and digital services usable by people with a broad range of abilities, technologies, and access needs. Accessibility is an ongoing product and content responsibility rather than a one-time widget or certification.
Target standard and current status
Our development target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. The staging site is being reviewed and improved toward that target, but BioSonics does not claim that every legacy page, document, media item, third-party integration, or customer workflow is fully conformant.
Available assistance
The Accessibility Options panel provides text sizing, spacing controls, contrast modes, readable fonts, focus and link highlighting, reduced motion, image muting, a large cursor, reading guide, browser text-to-speech controls, semantic landmark navigation, and persistent accessibility profiles. The panel opens from the Aa button or the Alt+A keyboard shortcut.
Compatibility and limitations
The site is intended to support current versions of major browsers, keyboard navigation, zoom, and commonly used assistive technologies. Some older content, downloadable files, embedded media, payment or shipping interfaces, and third-party services may have limitations outside direct BioSonics control. The preference panel does not replace accessible source structure or a user's own assistive technology.
Feedback and alternative access
If a page, document, product workflow, or feature is difficult to use, please report the page URL, the problem encountered, the browser or assistive technology involved when relevant, and the preferred way to receive the information. Use the BioSonics contact page to request assistance or an accessible alternative.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility work includes semantic markup, keyboard and focus testing, readable content, alternative text, form labels and errors, color contrast, responsive layouts, document remediation, third-party review, and periodic audits. Priorities are informed by customer feedback and the impact of identified barriers.
