Biosonic Tuning Fork Manufacturing Standards

Biosonic tuning forks are designed to scientific standards using the highest quality aluminum alloy. They are precisely tuned within 0.5% of the indicated frequency @20 degrees C. All tuning forks are subjected to at least three inspection processes to guarantee quality. The specially designed aluminum alloy makes them harder, more durable, and impact resistant with decreased frequency changes due to temperature variations. This results in a longer ring tone, purer tonal quality when knee tapped, and a complete range of overtones when tapped together. Using the highest quality aluminum alloy also means that Biosonic tuning forks are immune to corrosion, have the highest rating for quality of surface finish, and have no sharp edges.

Biosonic tuning forks are made with Alcoa aluminum. The aluminum is domestically produced within the regulations of United States and meets all environmental laws. Alcoa was named one of the top three Sustainable Corporations in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. In 2005, Business Week magazine, in conjunction with the Climate Group, ranked Alcoa as one of the “Top Green Companies“ in cutting their carbon gas emissions.

Tuning forks we have tested from competing companies are softer, have higher levels of impurities, are more susceptible to corrosion, and frequency changes due to temperature variations. They have a rougher appearance, the ring time is 20+% less, and tonal quality, which is important in the healing process, can vary by 2+%. Due to the softness of the aluminum many overtones, which are essential in neural transmission as part of stress reduction are dropped and cannot be relied upon with any consistency. The companies supplying softer impure aluminum at lower prices tend to have weak environment records and questionable labor practices.
