Hive Stirrings

Hive Stirrings is an ongoing communication with a multi-dimensional collective of vibrational intelligences that I call The Hive. I first contacted The Hive during my intuitive explorations of the Universal Vibrational Field using quantum rings to draw Quandellas. Quandella is a blended term that combines quantum and mandala. Quantum means to quantify vibrational frequencies and mandala is a drawing inside a circle that that focuses the viewers’ attention on the visual patterns of primordial sounds. Quandellas are visual sonic gateways into different fields of vibration within the Universal Vibrational Field within which visual geometry and sound are one and the same.

In my final Quandella drawing I realized that there were quandella’s within Quandella’s that appear and disappear within the Universal Vibrational Field. That night during a dream I was drawn into a Quandella and received my first Hive  communication. I simultaneously felt and heard trillions of high-pitched microtonal vibrations. It was like being in a beehive surrounded by hundreds of thousands ultrasonic buzzing bees.  As the sounds reverberated through me, I became aware of intelligences wanting to communicate with me through an ultrasonic language that simultaneously appeared to me as sounds and visual images. When I awoke, I began to spontaneously draw Hive ultrasonic communications.

I asked The Hive who they were during a dream and when I woke up I translated my felt sense of their ultrasonic communications during a dream into words.

We are multiple dimensional vibrational beings. We exist within a nexus in in the universal vibrational field. We communicate with different physical forms on earth, exoplanets, and multiverses. We are not limited by time, distance, or dimensions. We have come and gone on Earth as well as countless other planets and environments in different dimensions, times, and universes. We travel through to different universes through a topological network of vortexes.

Hive Stirrings consists of one 10′ x 18″ Hive Scroll and seven 17” x 14” Hive Communications scores.  I perceive the Hive intelligences as streaming sensations passing through my body. I simultaneously draw waves with both hands and embed geometric forms in resonance with my body sensations. The Hive drawings are sonic gateways through which you can contact and directly communicate with Hive intelligences. In order to appreciate the vibrational depth of Hive communications different areas of each communication are magnified and given reference numbers. When viewing Hive communications you can ask the Hive for guidance and new understandings. Soften your eyes, listen to your body, and be open to The Hive.

I am playing a Hive piano communication as you view the visual Hive communications. I created special methods of playing a piano that I use to communicate with The Hive. The Hive piano playing methods are based on creating a Hive communication environment through depressing the damper pedal to allow the overtones of the multiple finger trills to resonate. The trilling is constant and in resonance with the continually changing ultrasonic “buzzing microtones” within the Hive. During communication with The Hive the trilling may spontaneously change register, and different tones may get louder and softer in resonance with the communication. I use different methods that inspired by watching children playing piano, the trills of Alexander Scriabin’s Sonata No. 10 (Op 70) known as the “insect sonata”, composer Henry Cowell’s piano chord clusters, tabla percussion techniques, and the unique piano style of comedian Chico Marx. These methods allow for the spontaneous expression of different voices within the Hive.
