The 128 Otto Tuner is especially effective, but not limited to:

• Rib heads – The rounded ends of your ribs that connect to your spine.

• Thoracic vertebra – The middle back bones that ribs attach to.

• Sternum – The breastbone in the center of your chest.

• Iliums – The large, wide bones at the top of your hips (part of your pelvis).

The Otto 128 Hz Weighted Tuning Fork is traditionally applied to bony structures of the body, where its vibration can be easily perceived. Common application areas include the rib heads, thoracic vertebrae, sternum, iliums (hip bones), sacrum, spine, shoulders, knees, ankles, wrists, and feet.

As with all tuning forks, avoid applying directly over recent injuries, fractures, areas of active inflammation, or sensitive medical conditions.

Attaching the Gem Foot

 Place the Gem Foot onto the base of the tuning fork stem.

Using the included Allen wrench, gently tighten the small screw until the Gem Foot is secure.

Do not over-tighten, as this may damage the screw. The Gem Foot only needs to be snug enough to stay in place and can be easily removed when desired.

The additional plastic screw included in the package is optional and is not required for normal use.

Activating the Tuning Fork

Once attached, hold the stem of the tuning fork or the Gem Foot itself—whichever feels most comfortable. Activate the weighted end of the tuning fork by gently tapping it against a semi-soft surface such as your knee, the outer palm of your hand, or a tuning fork activator.

Application

Place the Gem Foot on the desired area of the body and allow the vibration to naturally fade, typically about 30 seconds. You may then move to another area. For best results, work approximately 3 inches apart between application points and avoid repeated application in the same spot more than twice.
