Tuning Forks and COVID-19

Many people have been asking me about tuning forks and the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Tuning Forks are not a cure for the COVID-19 however they can be an important integrative medicine support tool. The key is how to use them correctly. I recommend the following annotated protocol. 

  1. Create a clear intention. (for more on the importance of intention I recommend you read Sound Healing and Values Visualization which is available at www.biosonics.com or as an e book on Kindle.)
  2. This requires being in the present. The fear of COVID-19 creates panic and to know the difference between panic and reality one has to be in the present vs being in a future in which one has lost control. Remember you can only control what you can control and one of the things you can control right now is your breath. One of the best ways to deal with anxiety and panic and bring oneself into a present state of mind is rhythmic breathing. I suggest that you breathe in 5 seconds and exhale 5 seconds for one to five minutes. As your mind calms down and you come into the present so does your body physiology. Higher states of panic and anxiety create a body physiology which is not immune supportive and leaves one more vulnerable to COVID-19.

  4. Sit in a safe place and tap the C-256 and G-384 tuning forks and bring them to your ears. If you are not sure how to do this see my support videos at www.biosonics.com

I have always recommended that everyone keep the tuning forks on the nightstand and tap one time in the evening and one time in the morning. However, with the COVID-19 challenge, anytime you find yourself in a negative future or experience anxiety or panic that you feel like you cannot control, I recommend you follow the above – rhythmical breath and tap your tuning forks. The sound of the tuning forks instantly creates a neural coherent state and also helps you be more aware and automatically self-regulate from a state of anxiety to a state of being more coherent and better able to reality test. 

The C and G tuning forks (Biosonic Bodytuners™) are immediately effective. You should carry them in your pocket or purse and use them whenever you feel the need. If you want to work with others and keep a safe social distance then tap them together and create a concert for a listener or listeners 6 or more feet away. 

Remember that the tuning forks are an integrative sound healing tool. They are not a substitute for washing your hands, keeping proper distance, and proper hygiene. When used correctly they will enhance your immune system via a nitric oxide signaling response (knows at the relaxation response) which is a proven to enhance the immune system and create a physiology which is antiviral.

If you would like to use other sound healing modalities I recommend you begin with rhythmic breathing and then mindfully listen to the sound i.e. the hum of a crystal or metal bowl, the gentle vibration of a gong, or the natural sounds of waterfalls, streams, and rain. If you have a music you enjoy that brings good memories and feelings – play it and move to it.
